OOTD Yellow Coat Lovin'

Hey guys! This is kinda my first ever pose-y "what I wore today" blog post which is ridiculous since I have had my blog for like two years!! So yeh, since its been so god dahm lovely in Glasgow recently I really couldn't help myself but to wear this beauty of a yellow mac from boohoo.com.

This look was for work! (one of the few times I actually made an effort). I paired my coat with a my blue mom jeans from H&M, my 'creeper style' platform shoes from...International...if anyone actually remembers that shop!! My check boxy shirt from Topshop, which i bought like last year in the sale and my little leather backpack also from Topshop! Ive been wanting a pair of mom jeans for a long time now and finally bought them the other day and I don't think I have had them off, Ive been wearing them with crop tops, shirts, jumpers..and they are so mega comfy.

I actually really enjoy documenting my outfit choices and if my sister continues to take the photos for me I will be more than happy to keep it up! Also I have started posting my looks onto lookbook.nu as well so if you have it you could follow me on that too! My username is : Danielle G. (i think...still trying to work it haha)

CocoWhite Teeth Whitening Review

Hey guys! Not blogged in a good while :( sadly super busy with work and uni and kinda struggling with what to write about! But I really really enjoy reading reviews of products (especially teeth whitening).

So I thought I'd let you guys know how I got on with the two week course of Coco White mint teeth whitening. Since so many people have asked me to let them know how I get on with it!

Day one - I found it really difficult to swirl it for the whole 15 minutes thats recommend so I only got to 10, but apparently not bad for the first time! I read up a good bit about it before buying it and its recommended to do it before bed and before you brush your teeth at night (also some bloggers have been gargling salt water straight after the oil pulling and then brushing but I haven't done that)

Day two - Was a little more prepared for this one, I let the oil melt (warmed the sachets in my hand) and poured it into a shot glass instead of taking it right from the packet because I spilled it all over my face yesterday and the greasy oily texture isn't nice! Managed to get to 14 minutes woo hoo!

Day three - Super easy this time, used the shot glass and spat it into a separate cup as I just found out you shouldn't spit it down the sink because it can cause blockages OOPS! Also as I am super impatient I bought teeth whitening toothpaste too...to try and speed the process along a little! But going good so far. Haven't seen much change yet though just gotta keep going!

Day four, five, six, seven...

Now that Im half way through the course I really thought i would see some sort of change by now but I really don't feel like I have, apart from maybe my front two teeth but I hardly want them to stick out anymore than they already do!!

Now that I only have about two days left of the course I really thought by now I would have seen a dramatic change, but to be honest I am pretty under welled by the whole product. After seeing the before and after picture I can see a tiny tiny tiny change in colouring but nothing as substantial as I was promised.

(sorry for the horrid picture of my squint teeth!)

I think that may be a reason why some teeth where a little bit better than others because mine are uneven, so maybe if someone else was to try it that has straight teeth it might work out better for them! But although over all this isn't a great review I have seen it on other people and it has worked really well, I guess the product just isn't for everyone, and it does take a lot of effort (especially near the end when I have a cold and couldn't breath out of my nose properly!!) remembering to do it every night before brushing your teeth etc...

Hope this as helped a little if you where thinking about buying Cocowhite, also they are so quick for delivering and very fast at replying to queries so if you are interested in purchasing the 14 day pack you have to go on the website at 8pm every night to purchase it because demand for it is so high! http://www.cocowhite.com

Lots of Love

P.s - I was not sponsored or sent this product for free, I used my own money and I chose to do this, and all opinions above are my true feelings towards the product and company.

Fresh Claws // Elegant Touch Push On Nails

Hello Everyone! Thought since I had a little free time today that I'd have a go at the Elegant Touch nails I was given for Christmas. These particular ones are from Boots (about £7.99, I think) and I have a little obsession with 'stick on nails' as they don't damage your natural nails as much as acrylics and you are able to change then more often, which for me is great cause I can never make up my mind when it comes to nail size, colour and shape! Also I bite my nails :( I know its a horrible habit but having stick on nails actually stops me from biting my natural nails and allows them to grow for a little bit too!

As for the Elegant Touch nails instead of using nail glue, which can be super messy and slightly damaging to the nails underneath, they came will like adhesive tabs that you stick onto your real nails then place the fake nail on top! Easy Peasy!

I think they look really fab, I'm in love with matte nails but can never get the right look with the nail polish, also I feel the ombre is really different then just one plain colour all over. As for the length of the nails I felt they where just a little too long but thankfully they has a file in the pack so I was able to file them down to a more manageable length.

Another reason why I'm in love with these nails is that they match perfectly with my Illamasqua Lipstick Rouge à lèvres in Shard. Heavenly.

Lots of Love

UPDATE: As some of you guys might have saw on my Instagram ALL the nails fell off about an hour after writing this blog :( But I have just glued them back on using Elegant Tough Nail Glue from another nail set and filed them all down again with a little Topshop nail file (as seen below) and they look great!

My First Ever Styling!

Thought i'd keep it in the family for my first 'proper' styling that I was actually able to document and get to tell all you lovely people about!

I styled an outfit for my younger sister Kelly for her friends birthday party on Friday night. As she didn't have time for tan etc the most important part was tights (as I do live in Scotland and its bloody freezing already) apart from that I had free choice!

So here is want Kel wore -

Sorry for the bad quality of photos but it was pretty rushed since she did have a party to go to! But all these pieces are gorgeous separately and super versatile.

Top - Topshop
Skirt - H&M
Bag - New Look
Necklace - H&M
Shoes - Primark

Also apart from looking gorgeous in these pictures she is also sunning it up in Tenerife right now! SUPER JEL!

Thanks to my lovely sister for letting me style her and trusting me to find her an outfit, will definitely be borrowing this one..thats what sisters are for after all!

Autumn Must Haves!

Here's a few of the definte must-haves during Autumn (which is my favourite time of year)
I can not wait till it gets that little bit colder for my big wooly jumpers, fur coat, toasty hot toffee nut lattees on the way to uni in the mornings! Also I personally believe that I reeaally suit most types of hats and this is amazing hat wearing weather. Fact. You will see a hell of a lot of selfies on the new Style Addict Instagraaaamm! (@__styleaddict)

1) Boots!
I have black heeled boots from River Island that I bought last year and they are perfect, they match with mostly everything, are short enough that you can match your ankle socks with your outfit but long enough that they dont look silly with ankle grazer jeans, trousers etc. So yes invest in a pair of ankle boots!

2) A burdangy lip stick

..what a beautriful colour for this time of year, it works well with the navy and mustard colours that just screaam autumn! I suggest :

MAC Matt Lipstick in shade Yield to Love.

 3) An addictive tv series

In other words invest in Netflixs for all those cold winter nights all youll want to do it lie in bed, put on a face mask and chill out watching a crazy adictive series. I recommend Suits, me and my boyfriend are obsessed with this atm.

4) A good hair treatment

My hair always seems to go mega mega dry during the colder months, but when I was in the hair dressers I was given the recomendation of pure coconut oil but its in a serum from Savers! Super affordable and cheap will definetly be stalking up on that over the coming months, you just run it through your hair either damp or dry for a smooth finish. But Salon Services is a great place to pick up hair masks too.

5)  My All Time Favourite...Sationary!!

I went a little mad in Paperchase today buying note books and the like for going back to uni next week!

I mean how CUUUTE are those little panda highlighters?!

What are your autum must haves?

lots of love

20 things I've learnt before turning 20

Since I am turning the big 20 next month I thought I'd write a little blog on just some of the things I've learnt since my 20 years!

1) TRAVEL!! I knew as soon as I thought about the idea of writing this blog piece that this would be number one! I've been lucky enough to have visited Spain, Portugal, London, Ireland, Paris and Madrid already! And really as clique as it sounds travelling (especially alone) gives you an amazing sense of accomplishment and responsibility. Even the bad experiences like showing up in Madrid airport with no address or internet to find out where we where supposed to be staying or getting lost in the street of Madrid, will always give you that life experience that you didn't have before. Seriously you wouldn't regret the memories you'd make.

2) Have fun with fashion! Whether it's the Barry M glitter eye shadow stage or the bell skirt and berrie to school, I might have not looked all that amazing but felt it!

3) Make time for you, stop trying to please everyone else because tbh it's not your job to make sure everyone's happy just you worry about you!

4) Mums do usually know best, even when you are 15 and begging her for money to buy the neon pink tutu fro Hellfire to wear to the Cathouse under's on a Saturday night...in hignsight she was 100% to say no!

5) Crying is okay! Sometimes it really does help! Go pour yourself a glass of wine, draw a bubble bath and put on a soppy movie on netflixs it will make you feel 1 million times better!

6) Daily planners (diaries) are great things! I'd be lost without mine, seriously a god send.

7) Being in a serious relationship at a 'young' age isn't a bad thing! There seems to be some sort of taboo on young relationships and commitment, just count yourself lucky that you have found the right guy sooner rather than later!

8) I am going to hate this but..save money! Having a little money behind you does open so many doors and knowing that SAAS (student loans) is not a personal clothing allowance for your first year at uni should stand you on good sted!

9) Don't work too hard (that's easy for me to say) yeh having a part time job + uni is great it makes those night outs even sweeter when you don't feel like vomiting every time you drunkenly offer to pay for a round. But having days where you can just get on a train and go anywhere or lay in bed all day and watch say yes to the dress is great too!

10) Take as many pictures as you possibly can! And print them out, buy some cute frames and hang them everywhere! There is something amazing about being able to hold on to your memories and not just stare at them through a screen.

11) It's only hair! Whether it's blonde or brown, short or long it will grow back! Have fun with it..all I'll say is that thank god I didn't have pintrest of it could have been a lot crazier!

12) Fuel smoothies are sent by angels for us to enjoy in giant polistirine cups. Drink them all the frickin time.

13) Invest in a good make up collection. I mean it's a win win for everybody...except the bank! Over that last few years learning how to do a good smokey eye and shape my brows properly is super important, I mean it's stuff I can totally pass onto my kids yeno!

14) Losing friends sucks but the best will always come back. People grow apart and that's normal but you know when you make a friendship that totally last the test of time that they are there for you no matter what. Also growing up and experiencing new things gives you the chance to make amazing new friends that totally mean the world to you and you will cherish that.

15) Love your body (I'm still struggling with that one) it's what you've got but learn how to dress it! Knowing your shape and what suits you will help you thought your entire life!

16)After a night out drink a pint of freezing water and eat a banana before bed...it takes the edge off the hangover, just a little.

17) Wear black, it always looks chic and flatters every shape and size.

18) Never keep problems or worries to yourself ALWAYS tell someone! No matter how scary or bad you think it is it's always 100% better when you just tell someone, then think if you look back on it in a weeks time it's usually never as bad as it first seems.

19) Ask questions, you'll never know what you could find out.

20) Always smile.
