Madrid Style Diary

Just a few ootd over the last few days in Madrid.

This outfit was for our night out on Saturday to Kapital, a big night club in Madrid with 7 floors!!

H&M green dress
Vivenne Westwood heart shaped bag
Urbanoutfitters sandals
Topshop studded belt
H&M cross earrings
Forever 21 ring

I kept my hair messy and curly from during the day..adding some dry shampoo for extra volume. Smokey eye using my Urban Decay 2 palette (which I looove! So many dark matee colours), Sephora lip liner and bare minerals gloss.

This is more of a casual day time look with a Parisian chic influence!

H&M Divided dress
Primark Sandals
Zara tan bag
Six sunglasses
H&M necklace
Tiffany and co. heart shaped earrings

Here's the little necklace from H&M it sits really nicely with most outfits and I like how it has both gold and silver and looks well together and can be worn separately.

I kept my make up simple since it does get so got during the day (apart from the red lip! Having a sleek black flick eyeliner and red lip using mac cherry lip liner and Russian red Mac lipstick (my all time favourite lipstick).

Going to the pool look!

River Island turban-style headband
Zara TRF basic white tee
Levi shorts
H&M phone case
H&M sandals
Six sunglasses

My make up again very simple, little bit of no 7 pink shimmer gloss and fake bake bronzer!

Will try and post a few more soon!

Love yahs!

Trend Diary S/S 14 - Global Traveller

My final Trend Diary post! Hopefully you've enjoyed them and I've made them as interesting as I could. Our last ket trend for this seasons is Global Traveller. Think tribal, aztec prints together! Mixed animal prints, flowing fabric, fringing, beads and tassels. Probably the simplest was to describe this trend.

There is also a strong connection with the macro trend Next Nature for this season,  this is super key for high summer and festival season.

This little beaut paring is from New Look, caring on the trend of matching top and bottom pieces instead of clashing still totally works with these also harem/pyjama style pants and cute flawy crop top. I feel that New Look always performs highly in the festival style trends!

I love love love this beautiful flowing maxi from H&M, the almost minty/limey green colour is totally eye popping. Would definitely work on holiday, maybe not so much for T in the Park i think?

This lovely little sheen t-shirt dress from Urban Outfitters is gorgeous, I love the print and colour of the printed panels, would definitely wear during festival season, with knee high socks and wellies maybe even a flowery headband and loose curls!

These are my two favourite pieces of this trend, still loving tailoring and geometric cuts! And this gorgey little cropped jacket from Matalan (Yeah I know!! Such a buy) would look perfect with a loose fitting white jumpsuit, big shades and some tribal jewellery!
With the skirt (from Topshop) just screams this trend with the classing prints and earthy colours, perfect for both high summer and festivals!

As for accessories this could be a whole segment on its own! There is soo much to choose from!

These are my four favourite accessories from this trend, I could have picked loads more but thought i should limit to my absolute favs!

Bag - New Look
Shoes - Topshop
Hat and Necklace - Primark

Hope you guys enjoyed the Trend Diary for S/S 14. I will hopefully be posting nearer the time my take on each of these trends throughout Spring and Summer.

Love Yahs x

Trend Diary S/S 14 - 90's Revival

This is my second last trend from the S/S 14 Trend Diary, this particular one has to be my fav! The simplicity of this trend highlights the true fashion from the 90's...the simple cuts, basic colours, logo clad t-shirts and my all time favourite piece the slip dress, completely effortless look and 100% sexy.

I definitely believe that this could be a trend for all ages, styles and occasions from office to night time looks. Although most pieces are back with a modern twist there is a few golden oldies that I can't wait to be back on the high street. Such as the jelly shoe, platform wedge, heeled sandals with chunky retro wedges! Beyond excited!

90's Revival

Mango do this trend so well and what I love most about this look is the simplicity, which almost leaves you to dress it up to your own style or leave as it is for a bang on season trend statement! From Mango

As I said previously I love a slip dress, so effortless and easy to wear on a night out, or as I have seen recently to dress down with a cosy knit and tights..both equally as gorgeous. This little beauty is from Oasis and does look like it has just sneaked out of your lingerie drawer to make a guest appearance at your next cocktail party! IN LOVE! Paired with nude strappy heels for 100% impact. From Oasis

Im a sucker for a printed T of any kind and as brand culture grew during the nineties why wouldn't you want a T-Shirt with your favourite frizzy drink label all over it! Remember the Spice Girls 'pepsi' outfits...lets just say we are channeling that this season! It is the 90's after all,  this cute little top is from Primark.

And for anyone that so happened to miss the Spice Girls moment I was talking about its this!

I mean...do I need to say a thing?

And I know I usually only choose two favourite pieces but I couldn't help myself this time! So there's three!

These are my three favourite pieces on the high street of the 90's revival trend! The skirt is from Miss Selfridge, the shorts from M&S and the sweatshirt from River Island.

My four favourite accessories of this trend!

Hope you enjoyed this Trend Diary
